Executive Leadership
Brent Marcus – President and Chief Executive Officer
Brent Marcus has over 20 years of technology management experience. As a co-founder of Cyberspace Promotions, Inc. (CPI), he launched one of the earliest Internet music ventures with Virtual Radio, a Music and Advertising Forum on the World-Wide-Web in 1994.
Since then, CPI has expanded into a Business Management Consulting Firm , holding partnerships with AT&T, IBM, Microsoft and others. Brent’s areas of expertise are strategic planning, finance, operations, software development and project management.
Under Brent’s tenure, CPI Interactive has executed large scale projects for a wide array of well know brand name companies including: Allianz, AutoByTel, Kawasaki, American Honda, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Sears, Pioneer Electronics, Cendant Software, Vans Shoes, Home Town Buffet, Pearl Izumi, and Columbia Sportswear.
Brent holds a B.A. in Computer Science and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently earning his Masters of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management with an emphasis in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
Herbert Takhmazyan – Chief Technology Officer
Herbert Takhmazyan is an IT professional with a history in both product and project management in diverse business environments. Herb leverages the scientific acumen he acquired while working in the Research Department of the Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory, at the University of California, Irvine. There, he designed and programmed computer software for behavioral experiments to analyze long term memory and neural synaptic plasticity, and created and deployed the protocol for the extraction, imaging, and analysis of DNA samples using polymerase chain reaction and gel electrophoresis.
Herb’s past experience includes leading the development team at Savant Software, a knowledge management platform, during his tenure as Acting President, to acquire capital and execute the development and marketing of a proprietary software platform. His team designed the systems architecture for initial prototyping of the product, and Herb managed the development team and its interfacing with third party organizations including investors and third-party vendors.
Herbert has extensive experience designing and implemented IT system architecture, integrating VoIP, customer service portal user interfaces, and other technology tools to spur business. Herb has experience coordinating sales for bulk purchases, managing B2B and B2C communications channels, and supervising in-house sales teams and call centers.
Mr. Takhmazyan holds a B.S. in Neurobiology from the University of California, Irvine.
